NONL Nursing Scholarships
Overview
Nevada Organization of Nurse Leaders (NONL) accepts applications annually for Dan Mordecai Nursing Scholarships. The Dan Mordecai Educational Scholarship was established in 2002 through a contribution in memory of Dan Mordecai, a dear friend of nursing and of NONL. Mr. Mordecai not only contributed the seed money for the scholarship fund, but also supported NONL in a variety of ways, including support of the first NONL Conferences. The scholarship continues to help fund tuition fees for undergraduate and graduate nursing students in Nevada. Nine $1,000 scholarships will be awarded: three to BSN and/or RN-to-BSN students, three to MSN students, and three to PhD in Nursing and/or DNP students.
It takes extraordinary commitment to enter and complete undergraduate and graduate nursing education. This scholarship is intended to reward your dedication and to support your goal of advancing your education. You are the future of nursing, and we know that in helping to support your educational goals, we will also be furthering the mission of NONL by advancing our profession.
